A series of dedicated workshop and breakout sessions
will be incorporated into the main conference program. These
sessions will focus on specific theoretical and technical aspects
of the techniques, and experts in these areas will be invited. All
delegates are invited to participate in these "nuts and bolts" informal,
floor driven discussions.
A two day post-conference (U-Th)/He short
course
& workshop will be run on the 21st & 22nd August. This
course is aimed at those new to (U-Th)/He analyses and will cover
all aspects of theory practice of helium thermochronology. Places
will be limited and preference will be given to students and early
carreer scientists. More details below.
The following outlines are
being considered as a starting point for these discussions.
